I am so excited about the start we have had on the deputation trail! I stand amazed at the outpour of love and support from my home church folks at Newton Baptist Church.
I am also amazed at how richly the Lord has blessed our family in the calling aspect of deputation. Since I began full time calling, the Lord has given us thirty five scheduled meetings over the next year! For that, I am very thankful, however there is still much to be done and many miles to travel in order to get to our field of South Africa.
I also wanted to share some of our upcoming events for the next few weeks. I hope that you will pray with us that God would use this time for His glory.
October 9: I am honored to be preaching at my home church while my pastor is away.
October 20-22: We will be at our home church’s mission’s conference.
October 23-24: We have the privilege of being with the folks of Gospel Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC for their mission’s conference!
October 25-27: We will be at a mission’s conference at Forest Hills Baptist Church at Mountain View in Snellville, GA
October 30: We will end the month at a mission’s conference in Blythe, GA with the folks at Faith Baptist Church
Please remember the Underwood family in prayer as we begin traveling and presenting our burden for South Africa. I am committed to giving my all to encourage folks and be a blessing to pastors we have the honor of meeting. I am excited about the many doors that are already opened, and ask that you pray with me for many more to open along the way.
I also hope that you will follow along with us as we head out on the deputation trail and stay connected through this blog, our prayer letters, twitter, and Facebook. (So many to choose from π )
Thank you all in advance for your prayers, love and continued support!
