I’m so thrilled for being a part of everything God is doing here in South Africa! June was a wonderful month of ministry and opportunities to see God at work in lives! July is proving to be just as exciting already!
A couple of weeks ago, I began canvasing the area of Missionvale where I plan to start a church in January. We’ve spent much time passing out tracts, and going door to door in this area. I’m grateful for the help of several young men from Soweto Baptist Church that have been willing to go and help with this effort!
While in Missionvale, I met Lubabalo and Mandisi, two men that live in the area. They have been to services with us a few times and we are continuing to follow up with them. Please pray for these men as they have yet to make a decision concerning salvation. Pray they will continue to come and hear the gospel and that soon, they will place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ!
I also had the privilege to meet Lulu (Thulasizwe). He is a 19 year old young man that we met going door to door in Missionvale as well. After attending a few services, and talking with him several times, I was able to show him from the Word of God how to be saved, and he trusted Christ as his personal Savior! We have been going through discipleship for a few weeks now and he plans to be baptized within the coming weeks!
Next week, Neighborhood Bible Time (aka VBS) starts at Grace Baptist Church where Kevin Hall pastors currently. We are looking forward to serving there and praying that many young people will be saved!
The week after that, Soweto Baptist Church will be hosting a 3 day VBS that we will be a part of as well. I have been given the opportunity to preach 2 gospel messages in Xhosa during this time! I ask that you will pray with me that it will be clear and understandable in their language!
We are asking God to use this time to see many more young people saved as well!
I look forward to reporting back all the great things God is doing in our ministries here in Port Elizabeth, South Africa! I pray that we can continue to add names of folks who are trusting Christ and being discipled into mature Christians. Please continue praying with us!
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support of our family!
