As of today, we are just 14 short days away from leaving for South Africa! Last night, we arrived home from our last out-of-state meetings and are looking forward to being within 3 hours of home for the next two weeks!
There is much to be done during the remainder of our time here. Ashlee has worked very hard packing most of our bags, yet there somehow remains more packing to be done… I would ask you to lift her up in prayer tonight as she teaches a ladies fellowship at Whitfield Baptist Church!
I am still praising Jesus over the burdens of our visas being lifted! We have everything we need to board the plane on August 2nd! Tickets are purchased, passports are in hand, 3 year visas are in order; it is such a wonderful feeling!
I would ask you all to pray for my mom during this time. Since dad’s passing almost two years ago, we have spent as much time with her as possible and still travel for deputation. This will certainly be a transition for our family and mom. My prayer is that there will remain a sweet awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit within all of our hearts as we say goodbye for a while.
I do want to be careful to thank you all who are so faithful to keep up with us, and pray for us on a regular basis! God has heard your intercessory prayers and has blessed beyond measure! We are so thankful to have friends all over this world who take time to lift us up to the Father in prayer!
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support of our family!
