Two Minute Underwood Update
It is hard to believe that we are almost half way through 2014 already! It seems as though it was only yesterday that we were printing prayer cards and making phone calls to schedule meetings to present our burden for South Africa. As of May, we have been in over eighty churches and driven nearly 50 thousand miles in seven months! We have seen God supply our every need, and move the hearts of His people to partner with us to reach South Africa! The Lord has been so good to us!
Next month, we are excited to be taking our survey trip to South Africa, and are expecting God to do wonderful things during our visit! My pastor and his wife will be with us, as well as a few others that will be helping and serving in the churches already established. I would ask that you please pray for this trip, that God will receive all the glory for what is accomplished.
I would also ask that you pray for my wife, as she must part with Peyton and Eli for ten days! (To be honest, I have worried more than she has about leaving the boys.) Eli is now eight months old and is growing like a weed.
Peyton is still five, but just the other night, after many weeks of discussing and answering questions; he prayed and asked the Lord Jesus to become his Savior! There is absolutely no greater joy than when our faith becomes our children’s faith! If you ask him, he knows that he knows that he knows Heaven is now his home!
Thank you all for your prayers for my family. Thank you all for your investment into our lives and ministry. It’s crazy to think that we could live our lives doing anything other than serving our King!
