Every Time the Clock Ticks…

Do you realize that every time the second hand on your watch moves to another position, every tick mark on that clock, two people die, and two souls slip into eternity! What are the chances that those two people went to an eternal, literal, burning Hell? Let’s be generous and say that 1/4 of the world’s population are born again Christians. What about the other 5 billion people in the world? Then take out of the 1/4 of Christians (broadly used term) in the world that trust in works, water, Mary, or whatever to be saved, yet are not…

And we spend our time complaining about who’s doing what, and he said/she said, and give little thought on who’s eternal destination is Hell. Is Hell real to us? Or, simply as place we choose to block out of our minds? Next time we have the urge to gossip and backbite about things that are temporal, let’s think about the 2 people that just slipped into eternity. And let it move us to share the gospel with someone!

Black Friday Lock-in Update

The Lord has been so good to us at Chapel By The Sea Baptist Church! We have had the honor of serving along side many of God's people that have a genuine heart for the Lord. I want to say special thanks to the ladies at our church for the hard work they put into the ladies bake sale for the youth lock-in. We were blessed to have raised $125.95 to add to the $410 raised since the car wash. With our total of $535.95, 26.7 kids are now paid in full to go to Planet Fun on November 26th, Black Friday Lock-in. 

Understand, this is NOT an activity planned for a bunch of kids to have a free fun time at a amusement place. THE GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED! We are praying that the Lord will have many young people that would not normally come to church, come to this youth activity! We are praying that many youth will hear the gospel and make a decision to accept Jesus as their personal savior! Our hearts' desire is the Lord be magnified! This will also allow the faithful youth, to have fellowship with other Christian believers.
