I was helping a friend lift a 50ft wall the other day that he had built as an addition to his house. I took one end, he was in the middle, and his dad took the other end. Already a little skeptical of our ability to lift the wall, we bent down with our knees and on the count of three all lifted together. I think we were all amazed that we were able to lift this massive wall to our waist, but we could lift it no further!
Little by little, the wall began to lower as our strength began to give way. We set the wall back down and rested for a few minutes before attempting this feat once again; yet our attempt was to no avail. We sat there trying to figure out how to lift this wall, and secure it so they could continue building the addition to the house.
Finally, Mike called a friend that was just down the road and he showed up a few moments later. This was our third lift and we knew that it would be our last, regardless of our success or failure. On the count of three, the four of us lifted from our knees and was easily able to lift this wall into place and secure it!
That wall made me ponder and consider just how much more we can achieve with JUST ONE MORE! One more person made all the difference! One more person changed our course from failure to success! One more laborer made the task possible!
Did you know that; YOU could be that ONE MORE!
We are so close to raising our support and getting closer each day to leaving for the field! But with ONE MORE prayer partner, ONE MORE supporting church, ONE MORE laborer; our effectiveness can increase substantially!
- Yesterday, we applied for the boys passports, and began the process of obtaining visas!
- Very soon, we will be purchasing our plane tickets and nailing down an exact date in July to leave for the field!
- We have already began loading duffle bags full of items that will go with us to South Africa!
- Our set up fund is increasing each month!
WE ARE AT 75% OF OUR NEEDED SUPPORT!!!
Will you consider being ONE MORE partner and watch with us as God makes it possible to reach South Africa with the gospel of Jesus Christ?!
Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support!
