Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners,
May was a great month for our family and church as well! During our short furlough, we were able to visit with family, and I am now an official college graduate! I thank God for the opportunity to complete my bachelors degree and pray that I will continue to grow and never stop learning!
Missionary Patrick Henry and his family were and are a tremendous blessing to our church while we were in the States. There are new people attending now that I have not yet had the pleasure to meet and look forward to doing so! It was also a great opportunity for our faithful group to step up and help during our absence, and I praise the Lord for how they responded to that need!
Tonight will be my first youth meeting since landing yesterday morning and I cannot wait to see our young people for the first time in a month! This Sunday, we will celebrate our one year anniversary as Iglesia Bautista Esperanza! It is incredible to see what all God has done during our first year, the souls that were saved, and families joining our church family. I am truly excited to see what He continues to do over the next year.
Construction on the building is coming along! Lord willing, we will hold our first service at the new location on July 30th! We have much work to do before then and trust that God will continue to provide the needed funds to see our construction completed!
We are also looking forward to our team hosting a group from Victory Baptist Church of Loganville this month. One thing they will have the opportunity to do is help with area saturation at our new location! This is a very important task when starting a church, and creating a follow up list that we can revisit throughout the year! I am grateful for their desire to visit the mission field!
