Praise the Lord! You should be receiving this prayer letter from Argentina! After a year and a half of working, praying, and trying to get to our field of service, the Lord opened the door and allowed us to get here.
Over the month of October, we were blessed to spend some time with family and accomplish all of our needed tasks for a short visit. We were able to get all our documents to begin our visa process under way, and complete some other requirements for entering the country.
Please be praying for our first ten days here in the country, as we will be spending them with Patrick Henry and his family before they come back on furlough on the 17th! We are excited to be working with them to reach Argentina with the gospel, and are grateful for their friendship. We will have much to do to settle in, and adapt to life in Argentina; at the same time, they will be packing and preparing for their furlough. Pray that they have a profitable time in the States and special time with friends and family.
We cannot express enough our gratitude for your continuous prayers and support for our family. The last year and a half seems to have been a long time of preparation for God to do something big and we are trusting Him to bless our efforts in Argentina. It seems like a lifetime ago that we were arriving in Peru to begin language school, and now here we are just a few months away from starting our first church in Argentina. God is so good!
Please join us in praying for:
- 1) Adapting to Argentina culture and the differences in language.
- 2) Settling into our new home and the folks with which we will be serving.
- 3) The Henry family departing for furlough.
- 4) The next several months as we begin preparing to plant our first church. More details will follow as they develop over the next several months!
Thank you again for your continued love, prayers, and support of our family!
