Dear Prayer Partner,
October seemed to fly by for our ministry and church plant. We had some exciting opportunities to invite folks for special events and meetings, and the Lord blessed! Mother’s Day in Argentina is celebrated in October, and we had a special service for our mothers and those that attended as guests.
Also, Ashlee began a ladies bible study held biweekly the day before Mother’s Day and then the ladies did a wonderful job preparing and decorating for the special service. They are currently studying through the book, “Lies Women Believe.” I’m so thankful for her desire to minister to our ladies and step out of her comfort zone to teach.
I have officially turned our Friday evening youth meeting over to our assistant pastor, Brian. He is doing a wonderful job at investing in our young people and we are seeing them grow and mature in the Lord.
Please continue praying with us for the building project. We are using every bit of space available to us, but still have quite a way to go before completing the construction. As summer approaches, we plan to use every opportunity we have as the young folks are out of school, to invest further into them and see them trained to do the work of the ministry.
We are looking forward to Peyton turning 15 this month as well! It’s hard to believe that our first born will be of driving age! We also are planning a special Thanksgiving supper with some of our Argentine friends to let them experience a little of our culture.
Which reminds me, I need to buy the turkeys this week before they are all gone!
Thank you all for staying in touch, encouraging our family through your prayer and support. We are thankful for each ministry partner we have and pray for you all often!
