April 2019 Prayer Letter
We have now been back in the United States for a month now. We have had a great time so far seeing family, reporting into some of our supporters, and presenting in some new ones! God is blessing our time during furlough.
Within the last two weeks, I’ve been blessed to be a part of two encouraging, and challenging meetings. The first was hosted at Crossroads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. Bro Scott Pauly brought a humbling, challenging message on dying to ourselves! “The Herod (pride) in us has to die if we want the word of God to grow and multiply!”
Then earlier this week, I attended the Standing Together Ministry Summit at Franklin Road Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. I enjoyed all the preaching and sessions, but my heart was especially touched during Pastor John Wilkerson’s session on having “The Heart of a Shepherd.” One quote he said in referring to being with the people you are ministering to really spoke to my heart: “The Shepherd should smell like sheep.” My prayer is that I will be so close to the people I am reaching and teaching, that I know what they are dealing with daily!
I spoke to Thulasizwe the other day and he is doing well. I’m excited about his faithfulness, and continuing to stand firm on his training. I pray for him daily and am asking God to continue to use his life in a special way.

I would like to ask you all to continue to pray for the following:
- Thulasizwe and his spiritual growth and faithfulness! I believe God is going to use him greatly, but he needs our prayers of intercession!
- Pray for our team and our visa situations. We are still waiting on the results of submitting ours in January. Jeremy Hall just submitted their paperwork, and Mark Coffey is still waiting on his results.
- Pray with us to reach our furlough goals. We are praying and working to raise additional support so that as our ministry grows and expands, we will be able to meet the cost. God is blessing with filling up our schedule to present in churches; pray that they will turn into support along the way!
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support of our family!
